Complete your Business Profile, select a customer, capture the job, review and send the quote, then create an invoice for accepted work. Capture the important details first. Each quote is reviewed before it is sent.
1
In Settings, complete your Business Profile with your business name, ABN, phone, email, service area, logo, payment details and default terms. These details appear on every quote and invoice PDF.
2
Pick an existing customer or create a new one while capturing a job. Customer details are used across quotes, invoices and job records.
3
Use Capture to enter the job title, service type, customer and rough job notes. A perfect quote is not required at this stage. The quote is reviewed before it is sent.
4
Add job photos when they help you remember site conditions, access, measurements or before-and-after details. Job photos are private by default and are not shown on public quote links.
5
Check the customer, job details, line items, totals, GST, notes and terms. QuoteByte helps prepare the quote, but you stay in control of what gets sent.
6
When it's ready, email the quote from QuoteByte. The email includes the quote PDF and a secure link where the customer can view and accept it online. Replies go back to your business email.
7
Customers can accept or decline from the secure quote link. When they do, QuoteByte can notify you by email, and follow-ups stop automatically.
8
Once work is accepted or ready to bill, create an invoice from the quote. It carries through your business details, customer details, line items, GST, payment details and terms. Email the invoice and generate a PDF for your records.
Go to Settings and complete your business profile. These details appear on your quotes and invoices.
